Wine is a part of our culture. There is a move here in Australia, and also all over the world, toward wine education. Australia provides wines which compete with outstanding foreign wines. Customers want to understand what "terroir" means even if they don't want to be overwelmed by information. They want to know more about the "robe", "the aromas", "the taste". As professionnals we should offer a service which reflects the quality of the wine. Moreover we have the obligation to respect the wine and the people who make it. Enjoying wine for customers is not only pouring it in the glass, it also has to be served at the right temperature. Customers are likely to ask about the vintage, the variety, the area of production. Don't you think it should be strange not to be able to answer them about the wine you sell ? As a highly experienced teacher, I provide a high standard of wine qualification for each one wanting to learn about wine. Moreover I really commit to share my passion of wine. |
